Linklex's mission is to provide the best search experience on the Internet, allowing people to discover, influence, reuse and share search results while maintaining their privacy.

Linklex's Unique Approach to Search

The typical search experience is tedious and repetitive since users cannot take advantage of previous search queries or learn from the knowledge acquired by others. More than 40% of searches are repeat queries (re-finding) and it is estimated that knowledge users waste about 15% of their time because they cannot find information that they already know exists somewhere on the Internet.

Different approaches, such as saving a user's query history and bookmarking, have been offered as solutions to overcoming the typical shortcomings of repeat searches. So far, however, no one has been able to strike an effective balance between finding new information and re-finding old information since both tasks require different strategies.

Using linklogs coupled with fresh Web results, Linklex offers a truly unique and effective solution to overcome typical search problems. The Linklex solution is beneficial from the start, since users are offered an effective way to save and reuse their search results. Linklex's search is also well attuned with current social networking trends allowing users to easily share links and linklogs using services like Twitter, Facebook, etc.

Linklex search results are organized in a format that clearly distinguishes them as Web results and linklog results. Linklogs are displayed in order of relevance using SetsRanking ^TM, a proprietary ranking algorithm.
